Well I do not consider myself a coder by any means, I am more of a mangler with a bit of design on the side, but I skinned up Joomla / Blogger / and vBulletin for my website to look reasonably similar.

It's not awesome if you have to view it with Internet Explorer.

this

even saying "best viewed at: ..." demotes a website from awesome status.

rule number one is work (and look good) on everything.

currently my best work would probably have to be my work's intranet i've been developing over the last year or so. Designed and built entirely by me using pretty much all in house programming..

probably not the best designed system out there but it seems to work quite nicely for me and i'm actually pretty happy with how it's turned out :D

My girlfriend is a designer and I help out when required with the more complicated coding (mostly just plugins). We do some freelance work through our website http://thelamingtontree.com/ in our spare time. I quite like the design she came up with for our site, its nice and simple, with purdy buttons. (Unfortunately the portfolio is still rather bare as the sites we are working on under this name haven't launched yet.)

I do web and graphic design.

I did a diploma in multimedia but I honestly learned more in my own time with experimentation and working through tutorials.

Not the greatest programmer but I can handle xhtml5, css, and some php and java.

Over the years it has mostly been just a hobby and some extra side income. Last year I decided to ramp up my multimedia stuff again as I want to create a stronger income via the internet, so I can earn money wherever I am.

I got a few sites up now but nothing I am really proud of yet.
