Oh, as far as I know they are multi monitor setup profiles. I've never used the default ones before as icontrol creates its own and helios requires you make your own. If you open them in notepad you can edit them to suit your combined resolutions. I would read http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=60815 as it explains alot about creating multi monitor setups.

I also use the track, so will let u know of any issues.

The icontrol app does make it a bit easier but I would like to have a helios profile I could easily swap to without borking everything which is happening at the moment.

URAUC wrote:Well, just finished installing 1.2.0 the A10 module and TrackIR. The TrackIR is going to take a little while to get used to. I have been using the icontrol DCS app on my ipad for the MFCDs and such but was trying to get that running concurrently with a Helios profile, does anyone know if this is possible?
I never used Helios or icontrol, though icontrol does look a good application as the touch screen is very appealing.
Multi monitor I do use for BS2 as it's nice having the abris and shkval on a seperate screen and the .lua file is fairly straight forward to setup; that thread you mention at ED is the one I used to set it up.
I might wait for ms surface to hit the market and see how it compares to the ipad before deciding which to get and from what Mellie said you can't use icontrol in mp yet but it is something that ED want to fix.

cheers :)

I've added 3 maverick training tubes for the A-10c to the op, these tubes I found particularily good.
If anybody has somes tubes they found useful in training please post and I'll add them to the op.

Cheers Thomas! Ralfi's guides are good because they're succinct.

Tomorrow night I'll put together the tutorial thread but I also welcome any late-night gamers to join the teamspeak channel and come flying with me from 11pm onwards.

If you are flying at any time, please do idle in channel :)

EDIT: I'm also happy (as I'm sure other more experienced pilots are) to offer up my time to work on anything you'd like... cold-starts, take off, mavericks, navigating... whatever you need. Just let me know, I'll be on most nights this week from 10:30.

2ND EDIT: does anyone know of any decent night missions? I'd really love to take my instrument flight to the next level, especially if it's in bad weather... I watched an amazing ILS landing tutorial with clouds and lightning, looked amazing.

Would love to jump on for some multi action but 1030 onwards is a bit late for me. I'd like to work through some AAR with someone, was practicing/attempting/failing on the weekend.

I havn't even attempted any night or IFR flying yet as I generally have my hands full with VFR conditions. Have been working on basic visual circuits out of Mozdok and they are going o.k, but no where near perfect. Flying an ILS in bad weather would definitely make things more tense.

just create a fast mission, you can set all the variables you want and it only takes a couple of minutes and your flying; DCS has a very good mission editor.

same here I'd like to attempt some night landings in the a-10c, might try and orgainse a mission for the weekend.

cheers :)
