DCS Combined Arms

available for pre-purchase in June 2012 for 29usd and will give you access to the beta version and the final product. Does look very good especially mp missions when combined with the other dcs modules.

ED wrote:DCS: Combined Arms gives you control of ground forces during the battle. Use the strategic Command Map to move ground forces, set artillery fire missions, and control the ground battle. Assume the role of a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) and designate targets for close air support aircraft, or directly control an armor vehicle or air defense weapons and engage enemy forces.

Play DCS: Combined Arms as a real time strategy game, a first person armor warfare simulation, or direct the ground battle from the cockpit of a DCS aircraft like the A-10C Warthog, Ka-50 Black Shark, or P-51D Mustang.

DCS: Combined Arms supports both single player and multiplayer gameplay. When in multiplayer, different players can take on different roles such as artillery commanders, tank commanders, pilots, JTACS, etc. DCS: Combined Arms allows you full control of the battle. All roles can be changed dynamically during the battle.

I knew ED will eventually make one,

good to see more milsims filling this gap, as nice as Harpoon was i've replayed it too many times along with sub command and thank god there's finally an equivalent on land units.

CA is great fun, the beta is pretty raw probably the least polished of any beta I've seen from ED but the community was yelling for its release and even in this early state it's great fun.
I did a skimish mission last night trying to take control of the airport at Senaki
t-80 ready for the business; smoke and dust still need some work and can obscure your vision especially when firing the main gun.
