what ever works; I do have a password protected channel on the gon ts3 server we can also use if the one v4moose requested isn't setup in time and it would be good to have a dedicated ts3 sim room.

That's probably a good idea and DarkMellie should be able to move any post over if you need. The virtual airline does sound interesting, I'll have a closer look at that tonight.

yes and that you need the menu bar displayed to get out of fullscreen so you can chat, ts will be much better.

cheers :)

well my server is easy and we wont have to try and navigate through 300 different other channels to find the one we want :D

The VA stuff i need to do all of the programming for the backend of it. I want to add a bunch of features that will make it more awesome but we can figure out if we like it or not later..

Edit: Also since we're getting an airline i can skin up the planes in service with the GoN logo and colours so we can all be flying GoN planes around :D

GoN Airways anyone? any other airline names that would be good?

you can fix this - uncheck 'pause on task switch' in the genereal settings window

I've got a few fun ideas for some community 'events.' If we have a successful fun flight I'd like to try these out. Would make for a good video (in my mind)

Interesting. I'm hoping it wasn't me who prevented you from connecting, last night. Having said that tho 4 of us were on last night no problems. Your ports are 100% correct yeh?

definitely, would be good to bring fresh ideas to the server and might encourage others to try out fsx.

I heard that the guy that posted those pics thought the thread and the server launch party needed some documentary evidence to support such an event, and he told me in good faith that those said pics would return to their rightful place once the view count passed 400.

cheers :P

Alrighty. For TS Details PM me and I'll give the details back. Or alternatively you can ask for the details in FS chat.

Because of the locked down system i have on the server guests will not be able to see other users or move to channels. Hang around in that channel and you'll either get moved or registered which will give you free access to the server.

thanks v4moose, I'll try get on about 9pm but sunday night isn't the best night for gaming for me.
and that flight should be under 2 hours as the flight from hobart to strahan in the baron was about 1hr 20 mins.

currently the weather on the server is set to cold fronts as I did a flight from cooma to corryong earlier today trying to stay under the cloud cover; building storms also generates some nice cumulous clouds but if you would like it reset to fair or clear let me know.

cheers :)

the flight from hobart to strahan in the baron was about 1hr 20 mins and launceston is about the same distance, so the cessna will take longer the pc9 might get there in an hour and we might want to take a slight detour over arthurs lake.

cheers :)

don't know what's up with the weather on GoN but i had a lot of trouble getting my 747 over 29,000 ft the other night.temperatures at high altitudes were way too high or something and my engines just didn't have any power in them. left GoN server and went back to real world weather and it was fine after that :?

just had a look and the temp was set at 17c which is the standard for the cold front scheme. I've reduced it to 11c and dew point is at 6c and I'll have a fly this arvo and see how that works.
let me know if you have that problem again.

cheers :)
