wow, I didn't realise ROF was that good! truth be told, I HATE games that make you buy everything in little pieces - like rocking up to a ford dealership and all you get is the chasis with everything else as 'DLC' :P

Does anyone here know how to talk to the F'ing tower in Flight? I tune the radio to the correct freq but the most I ever here is beeps like morse code?

Like in the older versions you could talk to the tower and request take off for HEAVY ect. ect.

I found it amusing for and afternoon but without some bigger planes ect I can't see me spending too much time with it.

I'd like to see a multiplayer mode where one person is the pilot and one the copilot because as it stands now it's just a whole load of people flying into each other?!?

going off topic slightly, just loaded up rise of flight...

any tips for a noobie? i loaded up a quick 5 on 5 duel and after an hour and about 10 restarts i didn't hit sweet **** all

also is there flaps and trim in the game? I couldn't find the button assignments for those... (trim especially as i found myself having to hold the nose down pretty much the whole time, maybe i was just flying too fast)

Double ahoy.

Just posted this over on the steam forums. Anyone else had any similar issues?

I'm just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing the same phenomenon as myself.

Boot up multi player and jump into free flight - i use the map to find another player i got quick matched with. He's just chilling flying in a straight line... cool.

So I come up from behind him full steam for a sweet barrel roll over his head... he's been chatting away on voip for the past 10 min but doesn't bat an eyelid. WTF. Ok maybe he just didn't see - so I go back for a second pass.... still nothing.

About 2 minutes later he laughs on voip as he explains how he crashed into a volcano, yet from my perspective he's still flying the same straight path, still chillin.

Clearly somethings gone wrong - but it can't be due to my internet dropping out or any kind of 'lag' as I've been listening to his voip and seen other planes flying around at the same time...

any ideas?

TLDR: mysterious straight flying planes, not where they should be - how can fix?

as for the rise of flight

no not really, you gota remember these are WW1 planes, only aboot 10 years after mans first powered flight

some of them have fuel / air mixtures control and radiator cowl controls but other than that its all manual controls

thers even a plane in there thats throttle operates by grounding / un grounding the spark plugs from a certain number of cylnders to change its revs

tho if you wanna check all the controls possible, go into the games control options and look

also no idea aboot flight,i uninstalled that back when i posted aboot it
