Such practises which we generally see as barbaric, are a consequence of someone imposing their beliefs upon others. What was said is that we should respect what others believe, and not impose our own beliefs upon them.
We would not be denying them the ability to practice their own beliefs, we would be denying them from imposing their beliefs upon others.

I don't even know if I would call anything said seriously on this thread hate, instead of derision, scorn or dismissal (and if there was, there wasn't much). but petti decided it wasn't supportive of the point of view, so it must be hate.

I think this thread has run its course. Sharia Law? Bashing Gay Bashers? And way too much religious discussion. It's time to fill in this rabbit hole.
