From Dust..

I just bought it, don't get it. It's really not an enthralling game at all. It had me bored within an hour.

You might enjoy it if you like graphics for the sake of graphics, however the gameplay seemed kind of .. dead ?

Buy some fish and chips with the $15 instead.

Liked it, could have done a bit more with gameplay as the engine is wonderful. Story line was appealing for me. It just got annoying in the menus and exiting.

Disable mouse scroll and getting around is much better.

Loved it to bits, personally. The graphics weren't really that amazing - the physics on the other hand, are astounding; sets the bar incredibly high for any other game professing to have "dynamic water flow" (I'm looking at you, Bioshock and Hydrophobia).

I didn't have any bone to pick with the gameplay - does what it says on the box, provides a steady stream of new options. Controls were a tad flaky, very reminiscent of Black&White in that regard (in the sense that you din't have pinpoint accurate control of the cursor contextually) but wasn't too painful.

My only real issue is that it was too short... I didn't want it to end. Can't really complain for $15, mind you. :)

I was thinking about getting this as I loved black and white. Is it similar?

Similar in some ways, but mostly superficially.

It's essentially a puzzle god-game - you control the landscape directly, people indirectly and everything else happens mostly autonomously. No pet creature, obviously. :)

Hmmm I dunno, $15 worth of fish and chips does sound pretty good!

I really did enjoy the trial version when I checked it out a few weeks ago (Xbox). I might grab it sometime in the future :), if it's on sale for $8, I'll get it with some chips at lunch.
