Looks and feels to much like HOMM V instead of the classics (1-2-3-4).
I am just not liking the looks of the game, the rather lengthy ritual/anim as the units move and attack during combat is another thing also.

Really? I think it's very HoMM3-esque. You can change the speed or the animations etc too...

HOMM3 Complete from gog.com + the Heroes3HD mod is where its at bro :)

The HD patch does lots of things beside catering for full hd screens:

One click all-troops or all-artifacts transfers
'invite a hero' .. call in the specialists for swampland maps, or just your old faithful. Basically you can pick any hero you like each time you visit the tavern.
