HoN free for this week

HoN is free for this week, i'll give it a shot as I really really like LoL the game, however I will be waiting for my friends to come online before I play it as i've been getting turned off LoL because of the atrocious community (i'm not the best player but i'm certainly not horrible but even if I was there's no excuse for the abuse that gets thrown around), it's starting to get too much and to know that HoN is worse...yea i'm definitely not venturing out there without friendly backup

The communities seem to have changed.
I've been a long-time DOTA player, and I also have a paid HoN account.

In the old days in DOTA noobs got abused heavily, and even if you're not a noob and just playing a bad game you got abused.

This seems to have shifted, all the abuse has gone over to HoN & LoL.

I tried to get a friend of mine into HoN who was also a DOTA player, and he got abused so heavily he gave up.
We're both back to DOTA now, games are much harder to find on Lordaeron - but friendlier.
