i love life, having it spoon fed and in such clarity just made amends for any empty feeling i had after ME3.

The ending is quite a disappointment, especially when you compare it to the original "dark matter" ending (explained here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/108 ... usly/).

Woah, I never read the leaked ending until now. That would have been SO MUCH BETTER!

I just finished ME3 and I really liked the ending

Hidden: show
Miranda died.

I chose the Geth and Tali killed herself.

Mordin died, I cured the Genophage.

My only expectation was that Shepard would die, if he'd have lived in ANY ending it would have entirely undone the series. I'm quite sad that people lived, even if everyone is confined to Sol.

Yes, the ending seemed quite rushed, but the vistas leading up to it were just gorgeous. Despite the numerous plot holes, I'm happy with the ending for my Shepard, I don't need nor ever wanted all my storylines to be tied up.

BioWare clearly haven't delivered on their promise of radically different endings so I'll be interested to play through their response.

Now to finally finish DA2 :)

Yeah I'm generally OK with the ending.

Hidden: show
Indoctrination or not, my Shepard was overcome with grief at Kelly dying as the Reapers took back the Citadel and gave a big 'FU' to the big issue of AI singularity, choosing to destroy everything and let someone else save the galaxy for once.

I still have criticisms, but the ending isn't totally bad.

He did live in one of the endings.
its the 'canon' ending which will be used for DLC imo.

If you play enough multiplayer to have more than 4000 EMS, Shepard can live. But it's weird because there's no real link to having a strong supporting fleet and surviving a one-on-one confrontation...

So it makes perfect sense in the context of nothing else making sense ...

Just finished. Enjoyed my time with it and am not totally disappointed with the ending. The story is not enough for me to want to play through again though.

Agreed. I had close to 6000 EMS and he's still pushing up the daisies after I chose the middle option

You have to choose the 'destroy' option to make Shepard live afterwards, unfortunately :(

You're assuming that the StarChild is being honest with you. Yes he says the Geth will be destroyed along with the Reapers, but he also points out that Shepard is partly synthetic too.

Except Shepard doesn't die with a high War Asset score - she wakes up in London. So the StarChild is telling lies? Maybe it's actually a Reaper trying to indoctrinate you ;o
