Hey guys,

Just recently a group of developers & gamers have created a new Authentication system for the free fps game America's Army. This system has been integrated with battletracker's tracking statistics so you can continue being tracked and earn honor once again.

You are required to register a battle tracker account in order to log in. If you have an **** you can skip this part.

From there you'll need to add an America's Army account to your profile visit this link and under "PC Games" - "America's Army 2" in the player name box, Add your preferred in game name. an account before downloading the client as it is required to log in.

Last time I tried to play AA was a long time ago..has it improved much?

I thought the last version of AA2 was 2.8? What happened? Hopefully this gets a player base again. AA3 made a real mess of things..

Basically AA2.XX is the older version of the game (Runs on the unreal 2 engine). So in honestly graphics are quite out dated (no worse the CSS i guess).

They went backwards in the game versions (most current is 2.85) because the game files in this version are unencrypted meaning we are able to edit them and import textures and such and update/upgrade as the developers/community see fit. Not only that this version is also compatible with Mac & Linux operating systems which allows for the development of a larger community.

But yeah if your keen to give it a try the clan FDG still run their "fight night" which basically rotates through a bunch of maps often running until the early hours of the morning.

To answer your other question, as far as im aware newer version AA3 (available on steam)hasn't improved to much as i believe they fired the old developers of that version.
