Ahh, I loved Warsow. When I was like 10 I'd play the game with all the guys in America at like 6am. Clan Arena was amazing, with all the rocket jumping, plasma climbing and maps that the custom map-maker had.
How I miss those days, and am looking forward to seeing more of them!

I cannot help but feel that they have sped up the game to gloss over the fact there there really is not a lot of depth in this FPS…

Well, in terms of story depth, there is none, its more just the skill based aspect of rocket jumping, wall jumping, plamsa climbing, laser climbing, bunny hoping no scoped headshots. Its a lot less on the depth side, more of the frantic move as fast as possible around a map firing rockets style.

It was kind of my first FPS, so I may be a little bias.

I thought the duels were pretty good and I was better at timing everything than I was in QL. I really wish I remembered to check the servers for people more often.

DM looks like it could be a lot of fun if I could get it together with some friends, too.

The faster a game is the more pronounced tiny variations in ping become more of a problem…
