Frequent Disconnects. Cannot find reason.

I'm getting the disconnect from EA message, and having to retype the password in to reconnect, only to be disconnected some variable time later with the same message.

I've tried all the hot and fast fixes listed in the sticky, I've tried the -pinginterval and reloaded punkbuster (it wasn't a punkbuster message, but I figured I'd try it).

Any help on this? Why is it always with EA this kind of issue crops up? :\

You mean you are getting disconnections during a match and disconnected from server and account server???

Are you on a wireless connection to the modem or on 3g wireless etc???

A friend of mine kept getting that.

The most random setting appeared to fix it.
-In the BC2 settings document in My Documents. Change Dx version to 10. (not auto or another value)


Dont ask me why it worked.

All I know is that he swears much less on vent....
