BLACK SCREEN

Now, everyone i know either had or has this problem
when your in game all of a sudden your screen gos black then starts flashing black for 10 secs then it go's away for a while. Is there a Fix or solution to fixing this?

I'm using an ATI HD 5970 2g
not one problem with it, only this game :S

Ive been getting this also lately(after new install of windows), bit of a problem when your flying a chopper!
I think it's something to do with AA if I remember correctly?

Apparently turning off bloom solves this but I keep forgetting to try. Some incompatibility in the nVidia drivers I think is what the tubes are saying.

yep go into BFBC2 file, setting ini, change bloom true to bloom false.

you can find the settings file in \Documents\BFBC2.

Windows 7 users.
C:\Users\nameofcomputer\Documents\BFBC2

Or just click your Start button in your task bar and go into your Documents tab in the start menu go into this folder BFBC2.

Open this file settings.ini and you will see below.

Bloom=true change to this Bloom=false

I got a black screen for the first time last night although mine never came back.

I had to alt tab and then force quit the game
