Borderlands 2 DLC Season Pass $15.95!

Hey folks, just thought that this should be brought to special attention.

Currently on Steam, you can buy the Season Pass DLC for Borderlands 2 for $15.95 - about half of the $30 it was mentioned it was going to be at PAX.

This may, or may not change, or for once, we might be getting it cheaper than everywhere else. Don't know, but grabbing this anyway before the price changes.

Almost certainly the best way to get it. This will get you four parts of DLC (which, if its anything like the first game, will be substantial) for the price that you normally get one of them for. Its a no brainer really.

EDIT - Well, I spoke a touch too soon. You can't buy it, it seems, until the game becomes available to preload. Sure hope the price doesn't get jacked...

Just posted the details a few minutes ago in this topic, but spotted this one to help out!

When checking out buy it as a gift, then keep it in your inventory. You can activate it later when you end up getting your physical copy etc

It has to be activated with Steam copies, but I don't think the huge chest edition I have pre-ordered from EB's is activated on Steam

Yup. They dumped the Gamespy matchmaking and weird DRM, it's all going through Steam.
I just bought it as a gift thing too (thanks for the idea, Cas) to use for myself... But if it can't be applied I'll just gift it to someone and buy the pass properly. Gunna be worth it.

Did this as well, I saw it in the Whirlpool thread, you'd be stupid to pass it up, as it is a Steamworks game, ALL cd-keys will activate on steam, doesn't matter what version you have/get.

Cas already posted about this earlier in the thread. Basically, you go to check out but then press the button that says "this is a gift" then select the option to store it in your Steam inventory.. After that, you check out as normal.

Well considering someone said the US price was $29.95 then it WAS meant to be a shafting for Australians but due to a mistake they ended up getting the wrong end of the deal.... sucks to be them!
