There is a healthy community of RP'ers on the Lumiel server of Aion, this server has become the unofficial server for the roleplaying community. Sadly this isnt the Oceanic server that said there sre still RP'ers around at different times and I've managed to find them even in my time zone.
There is a major patch coming out in a couple of weeks which I believe will be addressing some of the concerns of the playerbase but I've found it to be a great place to spend a few hours
