Body Fat %

Just curious, I was reading through the gym thread and noticed a lot of people commenting on their body fat percantage, and wondered how the hell you work that out? I've seen those scales that apparently do it, but not sure how much I'd trust them.

Need to get it done properly, scales won't be accurate. They do things like pinch tests to determine it. PTIs usually can do it.

The scales work by the electrical conductivity of your body, so will be impacted by many things and as said, can't be trusted, but it can still also be a reasonable historical comparison if done in a standardised condition each time you weigh in
