Glenmorangie is leading the race at the moment, tempting though the Laphroaig is.

Also nice score Sathias, a good glass makes a huge difference to the Scotch.

Jameson when I'm mixing, Laphroaig straight for classy drinks night. :D
(I still chugging through my liter bottles from the Airport. Gotta love tax free and a girlfriend that couldn't decide what she wanted, gave me a 5 liter limit.)

Not a bad Birthday gift! Ten year?

I'm quite partial to the Laphroaig with a splash of water.

I'm more of a bourbon drinker myself, but my father buys Black Douglas which is quite nice to drink by itself or mixed.

Yeah, a 10 year. Problem is I had some 18 year Jamesons beforehand (my dads stash) and that was so much nicer.

I have to say, I am partial to Glenmorangie ..

Have you tried the Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or? It's a glenmorangie finished off in French Sauternes casks so it has a slightly sweet and fruity finish...

I poured a glass, took my first sip (neat), and came... Mein Gott! It's one hell of a smooth and sexy drop...

Heh, those are the two I currently have in my stash... although the Glenlivet is almost gone.

Tend to stay away from the blends (Chivas, etc) - must be the purist in me.
