I'm afraid so - there's an inappropriate amount of sodium in most processed foods, particularly burgers. When you get over your recommended daily intake of sodium in one hit then that's serious. People don't realise that we're getting way too much sodium in our diets which is a major cause of hypertension which leads to heart disease, etc.
I don't fathom how you could see it any other way. Sodium IS bad for you, because it's almost impossible to eliminate the massive amounts we consume in our diets.... Have you had your Cornflakes today?
