I'm not sure what boxes you went to, however the two that i go to regularly are run by the same two guys and they do an awesome job of both pushing the people that can be pushed harder and also managing the people who can't be.

We don't do the Wendler, nor any strength days, there is an optional workout on the 2nd board for those that don't want to do the main WOD, the 2nd board has strength and a heavy WOD on it too, so either way you're still doing a solid workout.

I get super passionate about it and Disco can attest at how annoying I am, but for me, CF is perfect, its never easy, its always hard and i always walk out feeling like i've given 100%

there is nothing wrong with working out everyday, as long as you allow your body time to rest

Does typing count as excercise?

But seriously though, I've probably spend too long lurking the Couch thread to take cultfit seriously, even though it's a lot less retarded than it used to be and half the boxes are just doing 5/3/1 or westside and a WOD every other day.

Cracks me up sometimes to think that the majority of @fitters these days probs have no idea about all the crazy and retarded **** that went on because they're only exposed to their own box. Of course that's not to say that there aren't still tards out there putting middle aged women in hospital with kidney failure after a single workout, I don't know how it is now but the injury forum on the HQ website used to be almost the ultimate form of entertainment.

Really? I've been working out hard as **** for the last 9 months, And I'm considering going into crossfit, We're both in adelaide, Mind giving me some pointers? Maybe catch up one day or something if I decide to go down the crossfit path?

I heard about it recently from Joe Rogan Podcast, before that I had never heard about it before, lol.

best thing to do, is come and watch a WOD, and if you like it, and are capable of doing the lifts, buy a 10 pass card, and if you're still keen after that, join up. If you can't do the lifts with good technique, you'll need to do foundations before joining the main WODs.

A couple of months ago I achieved the goal I set for myself when I started training, which was to bench 100kg without a spot 6 times. Got 8 done on Monday with no spot.
