Comfort food

My favorite comfort food of all time for some odd reason, whether its a stinkin' hot night or cold and rainy, mums pea and ham soup (made only by her, no one else's.), & when theres none of hers in the freezer, i go for sausages, mash and gravy. And jam roly poly with custard. :drool:

So anyway this got me thinking lastnight as i was tucking into my bangers an mash with gravy, what are some of your comfort foods?

Homemade soup (brocolli, minestrone, potato & leak or sweet corn)with fresh crusty sour dough bread on a rainy day.

Usually some steamed rice in the steamer... Cooked with it is some Chinese Sausage Slices... Placed in the water with the rice.

Then some crispy fried shallots and finely chopped chives folded through at the last minute...

Hey ya'll. I think I can be correct in saying that she uses a slow cooker. My mum too makes pea and ham soup (takes all day to make in a slow cooker) and it's fantastic

. And when you put it in the fridge it turns solid :lol:

I think they are only sold @ IGA supermarkets. PLEASE try these chips and report back to me.

PS: Cheese flavor is pretty good too (but chilli is a mouth orgasm).
