AS you all no its not that easy to remove a car engine this video just may help you do it in one easy step.

two steps not one
no way to do that without unbolting engine mounts first.

Unless they were all cracked already. :)

Had an old Rover 416i (a rebadged Honda Integra, essentially) a few years back, used to clunk when it changed gears - took it in and discovered that 3 of the 4 mounts had snapped off.

Engines are only bolted in... Not anchored, welded and dynabolted to the firewall.

Put enough force on it and it'll rip out. Especially if chained right.

sometimes they just rest in mounts in the engine bay...


mmm the way they twist under acceleration when one of the mounts is f#@$%d, heh love mah jeep.
