RIP

Well, my beloved first car passed away.

Started with what I thought was general laziness and forgot to put oil in it, turns out my oil filter was loose and I was losing oil rather fast, and it seized up while driving my grandad to the shops.

2.5 hours later Road Side assistance Tow Truck comes (after regular RSA came and went) and it gets home.

I get it serviced, with a compression test and a new filter. Says it might live for 5mins, might live for a year. Dad's mechanic friend says should be OK while driving, but it might just not start one day.

So last Friday comes along and I had agreed to pick up a friend from the airport (arranged long before car trouble). On the way, car suddenly make HORRIBLE rattling noise, I pull over immediately. Cut to about 1.5hours later I get back to my stranded car after getting picked up and completing my favour, Dad drives it home carefully.

Decided it's dead, too expensive to get new engine. So now we've decided to scrap it and turn in rego (wont get much but hey, it's something).

tl;dr: car died and now I's sad.

So now I have to save, without a current job >: glhf me. Dad let's me borrow his work runner if I need to be somewhere, which is nice but not great.

Sad :( Maybe it's time to grab yourself a cheap motorbike to get around on?

Here, I've corrected this statement:
