I'm 6'4 and almost all cars I have to tilt the seat back more then Id like. Its worse in these cheap Chinese cars. Oddly my wife's crappy little Deawoo has plenty of head space.

Well you're not really that tall then :D

As long as you have enough room for your knuckles to pass your knees, you can drive it imo.

how many of you guys then since there seems to be a few of you/us have hit the head on the roof? just out of interest since you all seem to like quite small cars :P iguess being in a rural area its probably a bit different to most but i have hit my head quite hard on the roof a few times, depending on what car im in also with the whole hands dont hit ur knees thing, what if your knee hits the steering wheel when you're trying to brake do you just use your ankle???

Yeah I'm not too tall, 6'5", but even I had trouble finding a car to fit in.

I found while shopping for my first car that I fit REALLY well into 2-door cars, as for the most part, the seats went back far.

I ended up getting a Hyundai S-coupe, and I fit into it just as well (if not better) than I do in my Parents Toyota Camry.

Oh, driving the new Holden Cruze, I don't even need to put the seat more than 1/2 along the rail... I can't imagine who on earth would use the full length!

I guess it depends on the positioning of the seat too, I've got a Mitsubishi Magna and I find it a little bit cramped. Head is a little to close to the roof, when I test drove a 380 VRX, I couldn't fit. Eventually I found the controls to drop the seat and it went down a good 4 inches and I was fine, and I'm only 6ft!

anyone 6' or over should try getting into a Caterham Super7 (or similar). i couldn't really fit comfortably and i'm only just on 6'. also it's easy for your feet to mash multiple pedals, by accident
