And then there is the absolute mother of all builds.
My Supra: Restored and Built from the Ground Up.

To give you an idea of the build, they guy reserved the first 50 posts after his first post, and has an index of posts to help you navigte. He has replaced EVERY SINGLE part of the car. It blows your mind.

I had started building a S13, but recently had to sell it due to Uni.

He'd say he spent just as much as he wanted probably. Realistically i wouldn't even want to think about it haha.

It would pain me to know the exact figure.

Gets me wet dreaming about all the cars I could build ground up if I had an unlimited budget though.

I am guessing it would have been the better part of a house. about $100-150k for part, labour, transport, paperwork

You can build cars like that on a budget, but looking at his thread it doesn't seem like he spared any expense.

perthstreetbikes.com modification/members projects has some nice bikes.

bikes are a bit cheaper so methinks when i finally can do a project my first will be a bike of some sort. most likely naked'ing something that otherwise doesn't come nude

Jesus it doesn't seem like that guy was worried about paying bills/HECS or anything, just buys whatever he takes a fancy to and pays to get it installed
