Just got some new coil-overs on and a new bucket seat.
Went with yellowspeed Dynamics, they are one of the best sets for a Mx-5, all the top circuit racing Mx-5's in Australia use them.
The street versions have a spring rate of F 8kg R 6kgs.
The Sparco seat is a fantastic investment, really holds me in place through the corners.
I only bought the one cause otherwise I wouldn't be able to carry a passenger over a 34inch waist. - When I'm not using this car as my daily I'll probably get another.
Hopefully somebody on here can tell me some more about guard-rolling.
I need to get the fronts rolled as they scrub like a mofo over bumps and it upsets the handling characteristics.
Inside the wheel-well is a plastic shroud that wraps around from the front of the wheel well to the back, if the guards are pulled out do they re-mould these too? I don't really want to loose this plastic shroud as it makes the inside of the wheel well a bid more aesthetically pleasing, not to mention I'm sure it keeps alot of dust and gunk out of places it shouldn't be in.
It is the plastic shroud causing most of the scrubbing problems, not the bodywork itself. AFAIK.
Other mods visible would be the Rays Engineering TE37's. 16x7. They were the last set of 16' TE37s available in the world brand new from Rays as they stopped making TE37s in 16'.
Under the hood is a DDMworks CAI and a SMB full exhaust. -Hopefully replacing the CAI with a ITB setup in about 2 months.
