Reviving an old thread because I can't believe the sooks some people have.

Fog lights/driving lights/parking lights/whatever you want to call them. They're all dependent on the globes that are in them.
I've never had issues with any oncoming traffics fog lights. Ever.

If we're going to whinge about lights, how about we whinge about the pricks driving around the city in giant wank mobile 4wds that serve no purpose other than to be big and blind anyone in front of them.

I have factory fitted fog lights on my Impreza. I drive around town with them on all the time. And will probably continue to do so.

If people are can't drive because of my fog lights being on, they probably don't have the capacity to operate a motor vehicle in general.

and this is the reason i have a rearward facing aircraft landing light on my ute
Bluefire wrote:I mean those factory 3-6" lights they put below the headlights on quite a few cars these days.. same brightness as highbeams, Just aimed a little lower so the person on comming cannot see the road or you car for the last 50m before they pass you...
Next person to pull into a parking lot after tailing me with those on gets my club lock driven through their cars lights
!

again this is why i have a rearward facing aircraft landing light on my ute, makes it so much easier to let them know in a polite "BURN THE RETINAS OUT OF YOUR EYES" way to turn them the hell off

And that was the reason we used to box cars in and throw stuff at them :P Too old for those type of shenanigans now.

On a serious note though, if little factory standard fog lights ever impair your driving, you should not be in a vehicle. At all. Ever.
I'll be continuing to drive with them on. The fact that people go to the extent to mount rearward facing lights just makes me keep them on even more.

the factory ones don't bother me at all, it is the retards that put in 90/100 100/150 watt HID globes in their place and have the ability to turn them off yet don't

(ps, boxing me in never used to work, my car has dents so i never cared about ramming people off the road)
