New Vegas Campfire and Workbench Ingredients

New Vegas Campfire and Workbench Ingredients

I though I would make a list of all the known ingredients so that people know what to look for when scavenging. I personally hate picking up a lot of **** only to realise it was a waste of time and I didn't need it.

While these aren't the actual recipes (I suppose I or someone else could add them later), I just thought if they are in Alphabetical order it would be easier to sort.

Campfire Recipe Ingredients.

  • Banana Yucca Fruit
  • Bark Scorpion Poison Gland
  • Barrel Cactus Fruit
  • Beer
  • Bighorner Meat
  • Bloatfly Meat
  • Box of Detergent
  • Brahmin Meat
  • Brahmin Steak
  • Buffalo Gourd Seed
  • Cave Fungus
  • Cazador Egg
  • Cazador Poison Gland
  • Coyote Meat
  • Cram
  • Dirty Water
  • Dog Meat
  • Empty Soda Bottle
  • Fire Ant Meat
  • Fire Gecko Hide
  • Flour
  • Fresh Apple
  • Fresh Pear
  • Gecko Hide
  • Gecko Meat
  • Glass Pitcher
  • Golden Gecko Hide
  • Gum Drops
  • Honey Mesquite Pod
  • InstaMash
  • Jalapeno Pepper
  • Jet
  • Lunchbox
  • Maize
  • Mantis Foreleg
  • Mentats
  • Mole Rat Meat
  • Night Stalker Blood
  • Nuka-Cola
  • Nuka-Cola Victory
  • Pile of Night Stalker Eggs
  • Pinto Bean Pod
  • Pinyon Nuts
  • Pork N’ Beans
  • Pressure Cooker
  • Prickly Pear Fruit
  • Psycho
  • Radaway
  • Radscorpion Poison Gland
  • Stimpak
  • Sugar Bombs
  • Surgical Tubing
  • Turpentine
  • Vodka
  • Whiskey
  • White Horsenettle

Workbench Ingredients

  • Bottle Cap
  • Box of Detergent
  • Broc Flower
  • Cherry Bomb

  • Dynamite
  • Egg Timer
  • Empty Syringe
  • Forceps
  • Leather Belt

  • Stimpak
  • Sugar Bombs
  • Surgical Tubing
  • Wonderglue
  • Wrench
  • Xander Root

I'm sure you can guess the coloured ones are used in both.

Start ya cookin'!

There is also a Sorting Mod which is handy, but this list is just to help you keep an eye out for the right stuff.

Edit: I had only just installed that mod when i mentioned it, but it actually lists all items when you find them to what category they fit eg PART:Wonderglue and FOOD:Pork N’ Beans. It does miss a few that I have seen though but for the most part it helps you know what is valuable and what is worthless.

need duct tape, scrap electronics, scrap metal, wrenchs, and wonder glue to make a weapon repair kit. really recommend picking up as much of this as possible, repairing guns is expensive in new vegas. can also use it to repair picked up weapons and sell for lots more.

I'm a little upset that didn't have the Dart gun available in this game. That was my favourite weapon in FO3. Silent and deadly and a great way to turn a thundering Deathclaw into a limping target.

Hammers is the one that got me. So many hammers in New Vegas! Surely they must be for something, surely...

But no, all I have is a box of hammers.

Started collecting pre-war books then thought to myself well if there is so many damn pre-war books in this game they must not have any real use like in Fo3. So I sold them.
