Do Clipboards Do Anything?

Unread postby arkanis50 » 23 Dec 08, 9:51 am

Simple question, what is the point of all the clipboards lying around? Financial, medical etc. Do they actually serve a purpose?

No one knows, or the question is just too stupid for an answer.

Lol, if it shows the "junk" icon in the item stats when you hover over it, then it does nothing, its junk. You can sell it like any other junk but I don't think clipboards fetch many caps. ;) And yes, it is a stupid question. :P

Figured as much, it just seems like a partially added feature that might have helped boost stats like books.

It probably depends on how it flies out of your Rock-IT Launcher. Some things are surprising at the damage (or lack of damage) they do. Maybe it is just the targets I have hit with it, but paperweights and irons don't seem to do anywhere near the same damage as cameras and teddy-bears doing when attacking enemies. Billiard balls, as one would expect do nice damage, but unless you are in an enclosed area can be hard to find again after attacking someone.

Hehe yeah I am about to build my first Rock-It-Launcher so I haven't had a chance to use any junk as ammo yet. ;)

I use spoons, forks and stuff like that in the Rock-It-Launcher.. cos they don't weigh much, and I can turn around to a mate watching and deadpan "Well.... that Forked him".

I once filled a Rock-It Launcher with nothing but toy cars.

Ahhh, good times.

Pre war money.
Weighs nothing, does resonable damage out of the rock-it launcher and is relatively easy to find again. 8)

When broken at the proper angle, it acts as a sharp disc projectile.

Yes, they provide a hard and stable surface which paper can be supported on. This also allows you to write on the paper without requiring a desk or similar furniture. Coupled with its ease of storage and its light weight features allows for an adequate and mobile means to carry and alter paper records.... They also do decent damage when projected from my rock-it-launcher into someone/things skull.

Lol yeah they work really well if you can manage to get a good shot off, gotta love the rock-it-launcher, hours of fun. Favourite projectile has got to be nailing a Super-mutant with an 8-ball =P
