New Vegas - Lonesome Road is Out!

The last piece of The Courier's tale is told. Ulysses, the original Courier 6, seems to hate your guts for some reason. And he wants you to come to the Divide and settle your differences with a bullet to the brain.

But since that didn't stop you the first time, we'll just see how it pans out.

I've been waiting for this ever since I found references to this fabled battle in every piece of DLC for New Vegas so far. I'm looking forward to bringing the vast array of weaponry I've managed to gather and bringing war to this Divide. Looks like its going to be good from what I've seen so far, but interesting. When they say Lonesome Road, they mean it. No companions, which makes me wonder if there are any other NPC's apart from this Ulysses to talk to.

Anyone else played it yet? Or on that note, the other DLC?

I'll probably wait until there's a deal or a bundle of the New Vegas DLC, Gun Runner's and Courier's Stash as well.

I've just done a fresh install a few days back and started another play through and while I've purchased and installed Lonesome road last night, it's going to take me a while to get there. Gotta play through the rest of the story a bit and get my character level back up (and do the other DLC first).

Still, what gets me the most is that while I didn't mind the other DLC I look forward more to playing the user created mods that I've got more then re doing the original DLC again.

Well, so far... its good. Very good.

The weapons and gear aside, every time Uylsses talks, if you can get past the rambling aspect of this dialogue, its some of the best delivered I've seen in a game. He's got a bone to pick with you the size of a whales rib, and its difficult to understand why, but in the end, I actually completely start to see his point of view.

I finished it (sort of) yesterday, and am both happy and sad.

Happy because it was a very fun expansion, but sad because apparently it's the last NV DLC, which means if true it's the last FO content for a while.

Did anyone else decide to nuke both the NCR and Legion bases? I went for a quick run through the NCR base but got smashed (was kind of unprepared for it). Are they worth checking out? Any cool gear, companions or quests? There is so much radiation lol.

I kinda laughed when I saw the new DLC kit packs. Considering you can get a ton of new weapons and armour through the community mods, to pay for new items is hilarious.
