L4D2 Uncensored CD-Key question

Quick question...
I bought L4D2 retail on release (Yes, silly me) and just recently a lot of my friends have just bought it using a VPN to get it uncensored, and I'd like to get back into it with them, but the censoredness is REALLY starting to bug me. I sent a Steam Support Ticket to find out if it was possible to get L4D2 completely removed from my account, then I'd be free to re-purchase it with a VPN and get it uncensored, but they're unable to remove games from accounts.

I was wondering, does anyone know if I buy an uncensored CD-Key from a site such as G2Play.net and activate that key on my account, will I get L4D2 uncensored, or would it refuse to activate since I already own L4D2, or what?

That's a tough one. I'm pretty sure there is fix for censored versions to make it uncensored. Like a patch or something..

Anyway, Steam more than likely won't remove it from your account unless you have good reason to. No hurt in trying though..

You will need to make a new account for the new cd-key.
