Online is screwed.

So i got L4D2, i did the gore patch, and beat the game in a day.
I tried playing online and i got in some foreign country, so i stopped.
I removed 510 from the files and replaced it with 550, and tried to play online.
I keep getting
Bad CRC for left4dead2\steam.inf
When i try to join any servers.

So i change it back to 510, and join a gore fix server, bam
Bad CRC for left4dead2\steam.inf
still wont work.

It seems i can't play online at all anymore.
Any ideas on how i can fix it? i don't mind if its not gore when i play online.

Ok, i read that i had to verify the game files, i did that. And it made me download 300 MB, i did that. and now this.

It finished, but it suspended itself at 100%, usually when this happens i just press the pause and download button again and it finishes, but not this time.

Now theres 2 finished downloads that are suspended at 100% for the same game!

Turn Steamwatch/similar off if you are using it.

Try clicking the play button. Should force the download to resume.

Had the same sort of problem, and clicking play sorted it, hope you have some luck!
