What's with the price of no level items?

What's with the price of those starting level rares and magical items on the AH? Some of them are fetching 80k+!

Maybe I should farm the old Tristam road in normal for a while - lol.

not sure I have never bothered looking at low level items

I don't deliberately go look at them myself but I do sometimes go into the AH when I have one of my mules as my selected character and the AH will recommend me some items (usually boots). Given that my mules are only levels 2 or 3, the items being recommended have got no level requirements... and many are going for a fair bit!

Are they actually selling though? Or just being posted up at extreme prices? That happens in WoW. People buy gold from gold farmers and then post petty items up on the AH for huge prices which the gold farmers then buy...

Selling indeed! I hit the bid button on a few of them and someone had already bid on the item.

Could be gold farmers buying, though, I would have assumed that people would be buying gold in the vicinity of 1mil+, not 80k.
