HC Roll call

Post up

I just got to Act2 Hell with my Wizard
1st Barb is dead(act3 hell), new one is @ lvl 50

Apart from heaps of heart pounding close deaths, 2000ms latency rubberbanding is quite fun to deal with

This thread was looking a bit sad so I thought I'd make a post.

Started a HC monk about a week ago (my first HC char) after getting a monk to act 3 inferno on SC.

Currently at level 57 on act 3 Hell and only times I've come close to dying is when getting swarmed by illusion elites, can't escape from those :\

Reason I'm doing hardcore is purely for the achievement points (I'm a bit of an achievement ****) but what I've noticed is that the gameplay is much different from SC in that you tend to play a lot slower and more cautiously and the people in public games are a lot better in terms of communication, skill, patience etc.

Would definitely recommend everyone giving HC a shot and you do get an immense rush whenever you're close to death. Good times...

True, public games are a mess in SC. I started a wizard with the intent to get it into inferno and try out some builds and see what works for efficient mf'ing. I didn't last long, it was boring and the people in public games don't have a clue and act like 10 year olds.

I'm in inferno with both HC characters now but it's not possible for me to do it so I'm messing around in act3/4 hell still. I want to improve the barb first since kiting and shooting quickly with the wizard results in too much choppiness and rubberbanding. It's not really lag, the game just can't keep up to decent/high APM.
