Your other games are like old MAC OS's. People didn't make virus's for MAC's because nobody used them. Then they got popular. Now MAC's get colds.
Ok sure, but the way some of these posts are coming across is that you expect the average gamer to be able to tell which games they play that are 'high risk' and therefore require extra security to those that are not and do not. I for one dont know the difference, and this poor chap obviously does not given his post about his unhackable password.
Education does not require berating a person and assuming the worst simply because its humorous to poke fun at their ignorance.
I can see your point. I think you'd find that the people who are used to authenticators are the people who play WoW or other MMOs which have them available such as SWTOR. What people forget is that a lot of gamers don't do the MMO thing due to the monthly cost, so D3 is bringing in a lot of gamers which aren't used to needing an authenticator.
Hopefully if there is any good to come of this is that it will make more people aware that account security in this day and age requires more than just a password. Steam have been through similar issues hence the extra Steamguard features they released recently.

Rather inadvertently the password for my e-mail account is unique and isn't shared with any other website/account.
