My main problem with the single player argument is that it's essentially "It's single player because I want to ignore all the multiplayer stuff, even content that requires a party if you don't want to get owned over and over."

Same sort of view would see MMO dungeons as single player. They only require a godmode hack to turn off multiplayer, after all.

I've found that multiplayer is hard if you dont coordinate etc.

I was playing with a DH on nightmare, we had trouble against some bosses, so we talked, and I swapped my skills around (so now we both had mines/stun), while he changed one of his skills to fear, suddenly we were unstoppable and breezed through the rest of the act in a couple of hours.

just out of curiosity, are you planning on only ever playing solo? at some point I want to try hardcore, and it would be great to have a dude to play along side it (none of my friends are game enough for it)

I want to play multiplayer hardcore where possible. Look out for my hardcore guide coming to GoN soon, with appropriate ME3 references.

A guy I work with managed to get his hand on Windforce with his demon hunter.

He does 50,000 to 60,000 damage a crit, average is just below 30,000 damage. He's mowing through Inferno with it.

I don't love that. I'm insanely jealous of it.

You know something I don't love: **** elite class vampiric monsters in tight corridors. Three of them. Damn near impossible to kill when they keep healing each other so I just gave up on clearing that dungeon.
