Stock of the collectors edition has hit our shores. Currently in warehouses awaiting delivery to your doors/retailers. Here's proof:

Haven't even worked out where I'm going to buy a copy from yet :?

If locally, I think Harvey Normans currently have the standard edition at $68. JB is $69 and I think Target, Kmart, and Big W have followed at this price point.

I think Ozgameshop and WOW HD have it for $55 if you're prepared to wait.

Not sure where you can get a Collector's Ed from now if you want one.

Hopefully it'll be before the servers go live. I know my order from JB should reach me before the weekend at least.

Pity the Book Depository still hasn't shipped my copies of the Book of Cain. Was hoping to read through that before Diablo 3 came.

Getting pumped! Those lore videos from Force you linked the other day were awesome. Catching up with it all & getting in the mood. Next week is gonna be E P I C!

Odd about depository not shipping your stuff yet, they usually ship within 1 - 2 days of order :/

I think stock has dried up so I might have to wait until new stock gets in :-(

Hopefully they've put stock to the side for my order, else it might be a month or two before I get anything.

EDIT: They've updated my order and it has now been dispatched! The mailing address jumble up I had (accidentally kept 'use billing address' ticked when I didn't want it to) has also been corrected - very fast response with correcting this. I might just be lucky and get the Book of Cain before the game goes live!

You'd expect both of us to get the game on the same day seeing how we both got it from the same vendor and both live in Brisbane.

I got mine from EB, they had SC2 and Cataclysm at my door on the day of release. The only time I ever buy stuff from EB heh.

Another EB preorder. Hopefully there'll be no issues. If I don't get it on launch day I just won't go near the internet until it arrives...

Can't wait to dig into it properly. :)

I'm really looking forward to seeing what they have done with the game as a whole.

I hope it's not too WoW inspired.

I read the Atomic Mag interview and someone asked 'Why did you decide to go with Diablo 2 controls instead of traditional keyboard and mouse?'

WTF. First, this isn't WoW. Second, Diablo 1 came out in the mid 90s and is more traditional than any Blizzard MMO.

Hopefully, judging by StarCraft 2, the game shouldn't be anything too revolutionary - just the same style of gameplay while improving on some aspects.

Haven't tried the beta i assume? Because you are mostly correct, only two attacks which are both mouseclicks, and the abilities can be hotswitched i think so that you can prep before a boss and so-on, but eliminating the need to town portal :P

Will Ozgameshop versions work in Australia (since they're coming from Britain)? Or is the region locking only account based rather than version based?

I've played the beta, but you can't tell a full game from a beta.

There's a lot of Diablo in the game, but at the same time some of WoW. Like the skill descriptions and icons.
