It runs decently on my Macbook Pro under Win7.

i7 2.66Ghz
4GB of RAM
512MB Geforce GT 330M

So considering your lappy specs it should be fine :)

How does the GT 330M compare with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650?

I believe that's the video chipset in my HP DV6-3131TX laptop... thinking of occasionally taking this over to my bro's place to play Diablo 3 (gonna need a good gaming mouse that can survive the clicks to go with it though).

This is with an i5, 4Gb of RAM under Win7 BTW.

No idea, but in a laptop GPU it often comes down to dedicated RAM. If the HD5650 only has 256MB it may struggle.

My lappy only chugged when I splattered 10-15 zombies and critted, took a hit trying to calculate the trajectory of the body parts is my guess :D

Also it was driving a 24" screen at the time, might have better performance running on the smaller built in screen.

edit: google says the i5 + HD5650 should be better.

Good to know that there shouldn't be problems. Pity I wouldn't be able to play it on the go without a decent internet connection. I guess that's what Torchlight 2 will be for and that'll run on my Lenovo E320 which only has an Intel graphics chipset.

E320? high-five! :P

as for Diablo 3 I'm gonna wait on it... not a huge fan of Blizzard's direction lately. I desperately wanted Starcraft 2 but have resisted on that as well.

Why? They're both excellent games, just not exact clones of their predecessors.

edit: what you need to take into account is the horribly entitled minority that seem to rage about anything Blizzard do. D3 is awesome, ignore the rage.

oh no, I'm not worried about the quality of the games or slight changes of direction on the runes system or whatever. Couldn't care less, I know D3 is going to be epic...

It's the battle.net stuff I don't like, similar reservations to why I never bought BF3.

If you pre-ordered through Game Australia, you might want to check if you're still getting it - http://www.kotaku.com.au/2012/05/game-australia-has-gone-into-administration/

yes no sp, you need to be connected to the servers to play the game.

B.Net stuff? Bnet has been a pretty essential part of Blizzard games for a while. Or are you referring to needing to be connected constantly?

Also love the preparation pics :)
