There was a similar article on Co-optimus. The guy's mates both were higher level and both died against Belial or Azmodan. It was a hectic 2-3min battle before he plonked the finishing blow... just before he could have been taken out.

My bro and I have similar stories from our Diablo 2 days... but that was due to our PCs being too slow and chugging so much when we entered a new area and enemies would swarm us before the PC could show things properly. I was lucky to waypoint back to town but my bro wasn't. So, I did a commando run back to the new area and opened a waypoint for him. Those were the days before we got sick of pathetic loot drops and decided to hack our own sets (we didn't play online of course).

These days, he's a lvl 60 DH and I'm the one who needs his arse saved.

That feeling when you megalag on your HC character surrounded by mobs, and cant do nothing but watch your health bar disappear to nothing and say goodbyes, then magically pop back to full from a health globe while lagged out.

Can't say that I've had too many really positive feelings playing D3 esp through normal... it hasn't been tough (except for the time my lvl 4 Monk jumped into an area where I should have been at least lvl 12 to tackle... never died quicker in a Diablo game).

I suppose outbidding someone on the AH is where my wins are atm. Of course, with the Americas servers currently down, those feelings ain't coming around anytime soon. Might also lose the bids for a few items because of the server downtime.
