- The avatar is 80x80 pixels.
- The file size is 15k or less.
- If you have a .jpg file and it is to large. Save it as a .gif, this will shrink it's file size considerably.
- Host the file on either your ISP allocated webspace, or an image hosting site like ImageShack.us or Photobucket.com
- Internode customers come with 50mb of webspace allocated with their ADSL Account. For details on setting the webspace up with your ADSL Account Click Here.
- Some people may find they have trouble with getting an avatar to work on these forums. I've found (at least with linking from Internodes allocated webspace) excluding the "www" at the start and leaving the tilde "~" in will have it work. i.e. http://users.on.net/~accountname/avatar.jpg
If you are having problems getting your Signature to display, you need to first check if signatures are enabled in your Profile.
- Check to make sure you have the right image tags on the URL of the image.
Example:

- If you want to link the signature image to a website, use the following code.
Example:

[url=websitelinkhere.com][img]http://users.on.net/name/image.jpg[/img][/url]
Try and keep signatures to no bigger than 500px wide and 100px high. Animated try and keep them below 300k in size. Anything else is getting to large.
