Has anyone else noticed ?

Soon after the patch, the Aussie servers have been increasing in population, could it be due to the release of the new patch ? :P

The patch has probably helped, but one of the main obstacles in populating servers is that when the game is in the lobby with less than 4 players present it shows up as empty in the server browser.

So if it's at all possible, try and coordinate with others to populate servers.

Yeah, you do need 4 players to actually "start" a server since the player numbers don't update until a match starts. Whenever I'm on, I've actually been running around with two other friends (and another machine here) to "kick start" servers. They usually hit max capacity within the first round and we tend to fill a couple of servers before we settle, which I suppose is a good sign.

Oh and Serval, stop shooting us all in the back :(

We have been trying to seed servers by starting them with 2 players.. As the server gets 10 odd people, we go start another one. Its amazing how fast we can find 10 odd people. We have to kick/ban the normal ones.. No normal people here and don't you forget it. :58_80:

Seeding the servers is fun, then Brimlad pointed out to me that that's not the way you seed the servers. His way is cleaner and he said it has the added advantage of me not going blind.
