Is there nobody in Australia playing anymore?

Unread postby phewcha » 19 Apr 11, 1:10 pm

It is 1:30pm on a Tuesday during school holidays and there is not a single person in an Australian Server? Is it just me or is my browser playing up?

I haven't been able to log in all day "an error has occured...yadda" so I'm guessing a few players are having that.
We usually have 2-3 servers with players most nights.

cheers :)

I made a similar post below, there are seemingly very little Australian players at most times.
Jest; An act performed for amusement; a joke; Someone or something that is ridiculed; the target of a joke; To tell a joke; to talk in a playful manner; to make fun of something or someone

Learn it...

Haha im in the same boat as you mate, Yr 12 student looking for some action in the arvo and no other Aussie is on.

The most you will be see would be around now (11Pm - 12AM EST) roughly 5 servers or so full

This game has so much potential, I wish more people played.

I would be on to some extent if my MyCrysis login worked ingame, I could probably make another one with a diff email but then I'd need to use a new name and once my original started working I'd stop with the old account. I figured that the issue would have been fixed (it was also present in the demo) by now if not a lot sooner so I held off, but I no longer really give two **** if I can ever play the MP.

That fix involves chaning your MyCrysis username to w/e and then you can use the new name in-game and it will be linked to your old MyCrysis account (that now has a new name). I don't particularly care about my account on the forums except it's name, and using that fix involves changing to a different name, which I've been able to do since the demo (by using an old GameSpy account with a diff email, that even works on the MyCrysis site) but like I said above I figured shortly after launch I would gain the ability to use my MyCrysis account (and it's name) in-game, so I didn't bother.

If I had known beforehand it would take this long I would have just continued to use the account I did in the demo instead of waiting for "fix"s. Now however, it's been broken long enough that I will just play other games until the MyCrysis account works properly, assuming that it ever does.

I think you're having a similiar issue to what I was having before. Have you tried registering an account on MyCrysis using your old email (whichever has a gamespy account associated with it) and then swapping the username from your old mycrysis account to your new account?

It seems that MyCrysis links to Gamespy using email addresses. It's odd but well, that's why they had so many conflicts to start with because they didn't check if usernames were already taken on GameSpy when the MyCrysis accounts were created.

BTW guys you cant login to Crysis 2 with MyCrysis login details, you need to go to "Create account" on the login screen (in Crysis 2) and create a new account then "Synchronise" the two accounts at the MyCrysis website.
