Crysis 2 issues & updates

One of the most visually spectacular shooters made, and still able to make some fully grown Gaming Rigs cry in pain.

Have they updated the servers to 1.4?
I bought it on Steam last night and I think it's obtaining the 1.4 update. I'm worried I won't see game.on.net servers if they are still running 1.2.

Someone on Steam Forums figured/guessed the fix. Apparently, using the keypad causes a major conflict with the level scripting. I'm left handed and use the keypad for movement controls. I reset the controls back to default, started up the level again from scratch, and all the bugs and glitches (i.e. sound loop bug, invisible aliens and marines at the end battle, gunship not appearing) were gone.

1.4 patch is running and multiplayer is actually sort of playable now.

The major issue however, is that the servers don't update player numbers until at least 4 players are inside and a match starts. This results in the appearance of completely empty servers until 4 people start one up, then the server generally fills up in a matter of minutes. I suppose this is more of an awareness thing than anything until it's fixed.

A similiar thing applies for votekicking ("votekick (name)" in console to initiate votekick, "vote" to vote yes, don't do anything to vote no). There might still be hackers around but at least with votekicking available we can sort that out assuming everyone knows how it works.
