Official Crysis Screenshot Thread

One of the most visually spectacular shooters made, and still able to make some fully grown Gaming Rigs cry in pain.

Thought I'd revive this thread with a few more from SP.
PS, they're all from the level Assault, mostly from near the end of the level.

LOL, still? You must a very busy person mate =D

Also, yea those custom skins are on every weapon. I have a timber SCAR, chrome SOCOM, slightly rusty FY71, chrome minigun, metallic shotty, german forest sniper, carbon gauss, and the SMG is replaced by the UMP-45 you can see in the pics. Trying to get a way to replace the SOCOM with the SIG P226 but I haven't looked yet lol.

EDIT: here is a thread with heaps of custom skins on it: http://www.crymod.com/thread.php?threadid=12282&threadview=0&hilight=&hilightuser=0&page=1

I'll admit, I'm a hardcore graphics-whore... I didn't appreciate Crysis the first time because I was so frustrated at the compromises I had to make for a stable framerate.

Now that I've played it on ultra all the way though.. the gameplay and storyline are excellent.

Here's some random happy moments...

90fps :D

But I haven't got my 30" yet, I'm hoping it can still pull 30 on that resolution.

I think the 295's should be able to handle it 8) Crysis runs really nicely on the current gen cards. You don't need a NASA supercomputer, although it's an amusing joke. You just need lots of shading power, which in the current generation is around double the last generation cards :)

Current gen = GTX295?
Last gen = GTX280?

I have no idea since I've been away for a while

Where would 8800GT's rate? Last gen or, gen before last gen?

8800s -> 9800s -> GT200s

Dunno if you'd call the majority of the rebadged 9 series as new-gen though :P

Yea lol I thought because the 88GT's were released nearly a year after the GTX's and GTS's, and about 8-9 months after the Ultra's, and they used a new die size and stuff, they would be considered a new generation... But that's just my opinion...
