Why bother removing them when they're on my list of things to re-create?
Revolution is a good combat map, but the capture point ruins it, my answer is to just take out the capture point, same goes for Velocity. And then with a combined jail and a few combat spots the map is offically playable.
Frankly server 13 and 2 have had the exact same rotation for as long as I can remember playing then, and to be honest it adds it's own charm to the mix. It's a server that's not weight down by mods and has a really good map list despite the screwballs in the mix.
Having played on 3FL for around a year now I'm able to see what exactly was the issue with these maps, and customize them to suit the kind of people who play on 3fl.
People have request more maps for some time, but then sometimes you get the issue other surf serves have where the run is too hard for the majority, and the map gets rtv'ed before the pros can finish it.
So frankly stick with the current rotation, I'll be doing revolution and Velocity next since they're the most broken, then insanity.
edit: Another thing to note is that 3fl uses combat based maps, The gloaming and other types of maps are more surf orintated, so they get rtved easily when people can't do them
