Seems that surfing doesn't work. You just fall and fall while trying to surf. So hopefully someone in charge can fix this so we can keep playing. ^.^

Sourcemod died in the update, so I'd disabled it, which will be back soon, I've just been waiting for a more stable release of sourcemod. (sourcemod is used to open locked/hidden settings required for surf)
