Prefer one or two CTF maps over the eleventy billion payload maps.

How'd we get from no CP/TC maps to 3 of them? :o
Do not want Steel back this rotation. Maybe the next, if more than one or two want it back by then?

My suggestion:
Barnblitz
Badwater
Hydro (Melee only Sudden Death)
Upward
Hoodoo
Egypt
Frontier
5CP Gorge (Maybe)

That makes 8 maps, up from the current 7. :)

I think Hydro is a VERY unpopular map. I foresee it killing the server. I would really love Egypt and 5CP Gorge though.

And I'm glad other people are also quite sick of too many payload maps in one rotation. :D

I'd rather Hydro then Gravel and Steel rather then Gorge. And alternate between CP and PL maps as it's the constant PL continuation that is annoying.

I understand Steel just fine. It just doesn't lead to many interesting games.
Ditto Gravel. At least Hydro has a variety of maps. :(

I like your selection there Myth, gives a good opportunity to play a variety of maps that aren't all the same kind. I'm just no fan of gravelpit, at ALL.

Hydro's always fun! I always enjoy it, however as Hedwig mentioned it can also become one of those maps that end up with one team rolling the other over and over again.

As for Steel, it's a bit back and forth sometimes. When the teams capture points like a tennis game, the time gets added on and it seems never ending.

You're thinking of Badlands or CP_Well, Steel is only one way capture by Blu.

I like Steel, can have some interesting games and variety with the different routes to the final point. Plus, who doesn't love a good scout rush and cap?

I'd also be for Hydro easily but for the fact it usually clears the server of randoms by the first sudden death.
