Time to shake up #13 maps?

games.on.net #13 (hod,bad,up,lak,gld,frnt,barn)

Getting a tad tedious with the current rotation?
Any suggestions of additions/removals/general changes?

I'd like to see hoodoo stay.
Lakeside is far too long at half hour, especially when it's always the starting map on a night and begins with only a handful of people.
Would enjoy some of the older maps back again - Hydro and Egypt always get groaned at but end with fairly good games.

Just throwin' it out there :D

Believe I've repeatedly made my position on Lakeside clear? :D
But to reiterate, I hate the map and would definitely like to see it gone. Or reduced to 20 minutes, if it absolutely must stay. :P
The main reason it sees much traffic is because a couple of us will get on there to get the server started. And then we end up having melee fights to run down the clock!

Of the current rotation I'd want to keep hoodoo, upward, frontier and barnblitz at least. I'd like to see Goldrush and/or Badwater replaced with a different Payload map but I don't think there's any good official ones we're missing?
I'd like to see Nightfall Payload Race on there but suspect I'll get shouted down on that. :P

Hydro with melee-only Sudden Death I can get behind. Regular Sudden Death/Failmate is a big no.

Beyond that... I don't know. 5CP Gorge is pretty fun, in my opinion?

I'm on the band wagon of "Kill lakeside in a fire". I've never been a fan of that map or any KOTH maps. I would have voted against barn and frontier too but you know what, they have grown on me.

I like my payload maps but I would like to see some CP maps in there. I'm not a big fan of 5 cp anything, but I'll be willing to comprimise in the name or variety.

I think some CP maps could mix it up a little.

Hydro, I'm not so sure on. Sometimes it is great, sometimes it is not

PLEASE leave Badwater!!! I like that map!! I like the current rotation as it is to be honest, but yeh shorten Lakeside as I ALWAYS have to go in there and run around by myself or with Gismo to get started on that horrible map.
If anything, remove lakeside and just add some more maps in for flavor, but don't remove any more than that.

I played steel the other night on, I think, one of the GON Full Rotation servers. A couple left but we played the whole map out with at least 9 players on each side.

With any map it takes like 5-6 people to leave at the start for the rest of the server to follow like sheep -_-

I think Steel is a pretty unique map, I didn't know it was so unpopular.

I would love a capture the flag map too, but everyone seems to hate those maps. ):
