These rules are in addition to games.on.net General Rules
Team Fortress 2 specific rules. The following is a list of things that will earn you a ban:
1. Microphone abuse - the microphone is not to be used to discuss what you did yesterday or the day before that with your mates. The microphone is there for game specific discussions and nothing more. HLSS is not acceptable at any time.
2. Spamming chat text/radio commands - there is a line between acceptable and spamming, try not to cross it.
3. Porn/inappropriate avatars - These are not acceptable and will result in permanent bans and reporting to valve.
4. Map exploits - Taking advantage of flaws in the map design to get out of the normal map bounds will result in lengthy bans (note: this does not affect rocket/grenade jumping onto rooves as the rooves are inside the normal map bounds). Note: This does not include shooting through the starting gates. Note: the blank name exploit falls under this rule. Disruptive play - purposefully wasting time while others are trying to play. Disruptive play is at the Admins discretion.
5. Team stacking - This is defined as a) joining a team such that it causes the other team to be outnumbered by 2 or more; or b) joining the winning team such that it outnumbers the losing team (the losing team needs the help so join them, make sure you check the scoreboard before selecting your team).
6. Baiting others into bans - If you bait someone into doing something that directly results in a ban then you are considered to be baiting and will be permanently banned. Making this rule clearly stated since lots of people are breaking this rule.
7. Inappropriate weapon names - If you have renamed a weapon to something that is considered inappropriate, eg sexist, racist, discriminatory or offensive to a normal person and then use that weapon in the server so other players are forced to see the inappropriate name, then you will be banned. It is also likely your weapon item will be reported to Valve who may take action on it as well (possible item deletion).
8. Scramble - We all want to play with our friends/partners/lovers etc but scramble is on the servers for a reason. If you get scrambled, live with it as every other player has to. If seen avoiding the scramble you may face a ban. Just don't do it.
9. !Admin command spam/abuse - Do not spam this command, once is enough! The command does work, if you abuse or spam this command you will be temporarily banned. The command is used to report players breaking the rules, do not use it to get an admin to come play with you.
