You're worried about confusion between T72 and Mi-24 and Mi-17 yet you're adding the L159 which looks the same as the Taki version?

Personally I'd love to see every Opfor/Blufor vehicle and infantry added. 8-)

Not for the sake of visual confusion, but the fact that they'd pretty much be the same, thus causing homogenisation, which people are strongly opposed to.

(All) the ACR units aren't available yet in ARMA2, not until 1.63 is released.

Remember, we don't have access to ALL the units in Warfare as it is, and for good reason.

I tried to mirror the M113's and BMP-2's, and Imperator complained :?

ACR includes a BDRM, T72, L39, and UAZ. All of these are (almost) identical to OPFOR versions, just re-skinned. I really don't think any of them are needed, although having L39's on both sides would be great to have 1 on 1 dog-fights.

There's 3x L39's, with different colour schemes. It's a simple matter to change the armaments with unit balancing to use the model that looks most unique.

On a side note. ACR has been integrated (minus the vehicles there's a poll open about).

I've also dirtily fixed gear farming.

I'm toying with the idea of making particular weapons placeable into the pistol slot, eg, the Bizon and MP5, and making their specific magazines fill the pistol ammo slots.

But don't worry, I'm going to remove the feature that auto-replaces inventory items when swapping weapons to stop any exploits.

The general rules for these weapons are:
1. Must be of pistol sized calibre (9mm)
2. Iron sights only
3. Have weapon specific magazines (Bizon, MP5, etc)
4. Not be suppressed.
5. Collapsible stock

This will allow you to carry full AT, or mass satchels, whilst being able to have a full rifle, creating new and interesting play styles.

Thoughts?

Mkay, ditching that idea.

How about moving the LAV-25 to LF2 to rival the BPPU? Or move the BPPU to LF3?

Have the Pandur at LF3. (Pandur is very similar to BTR90)
Move LAV25 to LF2.
Leave BPU at LF2.

As for teamwork, short of introducing a class based warfare there's not too many ways you can do it without pissing everyone off.

It's very doubtful that ACR will be put onto GON, so discussion from here-on is under the assumption that there is no ACR.
